Winter

Winter brings snowsports and cozy, fireside moments. Snows change the landscape to a glittering wonderland. Even on days without snow, enjoy crystal clear long-range views and crisp air with the unmistakable scent of winter. Spring

The transition to spring is slower in the Blue Ridge, giving you time to witness the change from bare to green as foliage creeps up the slopes. Take a cool weather hike and watch the mists rise as the earth warms. Celebrate the return of longer days with some time in Blowing Rock, where you’ll find incredible fishing, exciting attractions, and a quieter pace in town.

Summer

Escape the heat in Blowing Rock, where average summer high temperatures are in the 70s. Surrounded by vibrant green forests and ridges, there’s no shortage of places to explore while the days are long. Fall

Blowing Rock is surrounded by rich forests of incredible biodiversity, and that means our fall season is full of varied autumn hues. Local fall foliage is a spectacle, and seeing it should be on your bucket list. View vibrant colors for miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, America’s Favorite Drive, and wander under golden canopies on nearby trails.
